OPTIONAL AUTOMATIC SOLVENT BALANCING
The optional automatic balancing system determines and adds the appropriate amounts of solvent components to freshly distilled solvent, helping washout units perform at their best.

AUTOMATED RECOVERY CYCLES
The IHSolve system monitors the amount of solvent in the clean and dirty tanks to determine the most efficient time to start a distillation cycle.
Heat-transfer fluid temperatures change throughout the cycle to maximize recovery while minimizing the chance of producing dirty solvent.
At the end of the cycle, the waste is discharged automatically. Operator intervention is required only when the waste drum is full, after which the cycle starts again.
AUTOMATION BUILT IN
Less Monitoring. More Making Plates.
IHSolve systems are designed to manage the recovery process with less hands-on operator involvement. From solvent movement and tank levels to cycle controls and system monitoring, automation keeps the process moving while your team stays focused on production.

AUTOMATIC SOLVENT TRANSFER
MULTI-SYSTEM COORDINATION
Solvent transfers automatically between the washout units and the IHSolve system.
Tank levels are continuously monitored and reported to the washout units, while redundant sensors minimize the risk of overfilling.
The system provides sufficient pump capacity to respond quickly to the washout units’ clean-solvent needs.
For operations with multiple processors or stills, IHSolve can automatically direct dirty solvent to available recovery capacity and supply clean solvent from available storage.
Unattended Operation +Â
Optional Shift Awareness
Every IHSolve system is designed for unattended operation. It can complete a recovery cycle and begin the next cycle without operator intervention. Users can also configure the system to limit or prevent automatic restarting when operating conditions require it. With the Shift Awareness Option, the IHSolve system can be configured so that critical operations occur only while operators are present.

The goal is simple: let your operators make plates—not manage solvent.

OPTIONS THAT ADD VALUE
Tailor your IHSolve system with specialized features for automation, safety, and efficient solvent handling based on your production goals.

Automatic Solvent Balancing
The optional automatic balancing system determines and adds the appropriate amounts of solvent components to freshly distilled solvent, helping washout units perform at their best.
Automation & Monitoring

Power Monitoring
The power monitoring option provides real-time and historical visibility into electrical consumption of the IHSolve system. This information supports preventive maintenance and more informed energy-management decisions.

Shift/Time Awareness
The shift and time awareness option enables the automated recovery cycle algorithm to schedule cycles based on both operator availability and time constraints.
Use-cases include:
• Critical cycle operation such as waste dump will only occur when an operator is present.
• If electric time-of-use (TOU) billing is in effect, cycles will only proceed during low cost times.

Solvent Usage Monitoring
The solvent usage monitoring option provides time-based totals of the volume of solvent pumped to the washout units. This information can support both regulatory requirements and materials requirements planning.

Multi-System Integration & Automation
Seamlessly manages solvent transfer between multiple processors and distillation units.

Detects supply drops and halts the cycle to protect the vessel and prevent residue hardening.
Compressed Air Monitoring

Fire Suppression System
The optional fire suppression system provides an additional layer of protection by detecting and responding to fire conditions within the dump-compartment. System configuration is coordinated with applicable site requirements and the authority having jurisdiction.

Double-Walled Tanks
Meets strict local containment regulations with an extra layer of durable spill protection.
Safety & Compliance

Enclosure Cooler
The optional enclosure cooler uses a vortex tube to convert compressed air into a reliable source of cold air for the electrical enclosure. With no moving parts or refrigerant, it provides low-maintenance cooling and purging that helps protect sensitive controls from heat, dirt, and moisture.

UL 508 / UL 60947 Certification
If required by a jurisdiction having authority IHSolve can optionally provide a UL 508 / UL 60947 Certification for the control panel.

Closed-Loop Water Chiller
Enhances vapor condensation for faster recovery and improved efficiency in any environment.

Auxiliary Solvent Pump-Out
Provides a hands-free method to safely move clean solvent directly into external drums.
Washout Integration

Washout Pressure Regulation
IHSolve can provide complete pressure regulation kits for the clean solvent supply to washout units.

Washout Drum Kit
IHSolve can provide complete washout drum kits for washout units.
CUSTOM ENGINEERING
Sometimes the Right Still Isn't Standard.
Standard systems don't fit every operation—and that's where we do some of our best work.
Custom distillation systems are an IHSolve specialty. Whether you're working around an unusual footprint, unique solvent requirements, existing equipment, higher capacity needs, or a process that simply doesn't fit an off-the-shelf solution, our team can engineer a system around the way your operation actually works.

✔
Why Vacuum Distillation?
Vacuum distillation lowers a solvent’s boiling temperature, reducing the heat required for recovery and limiting exposure to elevated process temperatures. Continuous monitoring of vacuum and temperature detects abnormal conditions and supports controlled shutdowns.
✔
Connected Factory Access
Internet connectivity gives IHSolve immediate access for remote troubleshooting and support.
